One second

Dear stranger,

Isn't it weird how one thing can affect your whole day?

All it takes is one word, one action, and your whole day could be ruined. I woke up today expecting to go on a trip. I got ready, packed my headphones and my favorite book. I had expectations for the day and all it took was one second to realize I wasn't going. My father wasn't in the mood and that was that. After talking about it while getting ready, saying all the things and places we were going to check out only to tell me after getting ready that "We should have left early." and "Lets just go tomorrow." I have decided not to get my hopes up for tomorrow. I won't be surprised If I get another "Let's just go tomorrow" tomorrow but maybe that's just me and my childish brain overreacting.
